questions and answers

i have a document full of questions.  the list regularly grows.  the difficult thing is too write about the answers.  doing so pins your colours to the mast.  it leaves you open to critique.  answers reveal who you are by explaining what you think.  in some ways, this can be like my cat rolling over and exposing her soft underbelly.  in a trusted environment, there can be mutually beneficial pleasure.  in a hostile environment, so much damage can be made.

considering the risk, why come up with answers to the questions?  doing requires the synthesis of ideas and the development of opinions.  it results in a level of certainty and confidence, providing a platform to grow and answer more questions.  but why?  to grow in the depth of love and understanding of God and his people.
